Sports Mall of America
Orlando, FL

(SMA) is planned to be the largest totally sports oriented shopping complex in the United States. Initial plans call for over 3.5 million square feet of retail space house within a multi-level abstract sports stadium.

The stadium’s centerpiece will be a large sunken playing field with ancillary hockey and basketball courts. A choreographed schedule of local and professional sports events will provide for constant backdrops of entertainment.

Sports interests will be distributed by category in concert with specific dining/entertainment outlets.

These categories will be anchored by such flagships stores as Nike, Bass, Reebok Sports Club, and L.L. Bean.

As part of the overall master plan, the development will include two hotels, office space, and both surface and tiered parking.

All these amenities will be directly linked to the stadium but offset to allow for expansion.
