Former California Congressman, Michael Huffington, recently purchased a penthouse suite in a new luxury high rise in Boston to serve as his East Coast residence for him and his daughters.

The simple contemporary design of the space acts as a foil to Mr. Huffington’s world-renowned art collection. All art was commissioned specifically for this penthouse residence.

One enters the space through a wood portal and is greeted with a massive watercolor or St. Peter’s interior. To the right, the living room opens up with a grand expansive view of the City of Boston, a perspective that only the penthouse suite provides. On the opposite side of the apartment, a curved wood paneled wall guides you to a dramatic backlit onyx wall, which leads the way to the private spaces of the home. Once past the bedrooms, study, and dressing areas, one arrives in the heart of the unit, the shower, a grotto crafted from limestone with a river rock ceiling.
